چکیده

Nanobubbles have attracted great interest in recent times because of their application water treatment, surface cleaning, and targeted drug delivery, yet the challenge remains to gain thorough understanding unique behavior dynamics for utilization numerous potential applications. In this work, we used a liquid-phase electron microscopy technique insights into quasistatic merging nanobubbles. The beam environment was controlled order suppress any new nucleation slow down process. transmission study reveals that closely positioned nanobubbles is initiated by gradual localized changes physical properties region between adjoining nanobubble boundary. observed phenomenon then analyzed discussed based on different perceptions: liquid density gradient bridge formation gas exchange. study, it estimated stable thin layer. This work not only enhances our process but will also lead exploration domains

In situ transmission electron microscopy of solid-liquid phase transition of silica encapsulated bismuth nanoparticles.

The solid-liquid phase transition of silica encapsulated bismuth nanoparticles was studied by in situ transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The nanoparticles were prepared by a two-step chemical synthesis process involving thermal decomposition of organometallic precursors for nucleating bismuth and a sol-gel process for growing silica. The microstructural and chemical analyses of the nanopar...

Interaction Potentials of Anisotropic Nanocrystals from the Trajectory Sampling of Particle Motion using in Situ Liquid Phase Transmission Electron Microscopy.

We demonstrate a generalizable strategy to use the relative trajectories of pairs and groups of nanocrystals, and potentially other nanoscale objects, moving in solution which can now be obtained by in situ liquid phase transmission electron microscopy (TEM) to determine the interaction potentials between nanocrystals. Such nanoscale interactions are crucial for collective behaviors and applica...

Mechanistic Insights into Two-Phase Radical C–H Arylations

Kinetic, spectroscopic, and computational studies of radical C-H arylations highlight the interplay between chemical and physical rate processes in these multiphase reactions. Anomalous concentration dependences observed here may be reconciled by considering the role of phase transfer processes that mediate concentrations in each phase. In addition, understanding interactions through phase boun...

A flow - induced phase inversion in immiscible polymer blends containing a liquid - crystalline polymer studied by in situ optical microscopy

The phase inversion from a morphology of hydroxypropylcellulose in water ~HPC50%! droplets in polydimethylsiloxane ~PDMS! matrix to a morphology of PDMS droplets in HPC50% matrix can be induced by a change of shear rate, due to a viscosity ratio inversion. Such a process passing through four different transient morphological stages was studied by optical microscopy in a transparent shear device...
